OnlyFans API
Does OnlyFans have an API?
No. OnlyFans does not publish a public API for developers. It offers no API documentation, no API keys and no developer portal, so every OnlyFans API you can use, BetterFans Link included, is built by an independent company. Checked on 7 October 2026.
What OnlyFans does not offer developers
OnlyFans is built for creators and fans. There is no place to register an app, read documentation or get credentials, which is why searches for an OnlyFans API key or OnlyFans API documentation lead to third-party products.
How BetterFans Link works
BetterFans Link works only with creator accounts linked to your workspace. Once an account is linked, your code reads it and asks for changes through one REST API, signed webhooks and an MCP server for AI clients. The same routes cover OnlyFans and Fansly.
Some other products read public profile data instead. That is a different kind of tool: it sees what a creator shows the world, not the chats, fans and sales inside the account.
What you can read and change
- Chats and messages, with search across message text.
- Fans, with lifetime spend split by type, the lists they are on and the creator's notes.
- Earnings and transactions, gross and net.
- Vault media, posts and tracking links.
- Writes such as sending a message, taking one back, mass messages and list changes on OnlyFans. On Fansly, a free message to a chat the account already has, and taking one back.
See what works on each platform. Fansly does not publish a developer API either; the Fansly API page covers what works there.
How approvals work
A write is an action, such as sending a message. By default it waits as a pending action until an owner or admin approves or rejects it in the dashboard. AI clients that connect to the MCP server with OAuth always wait for that approval.
An owner or admin can change that for a single API key, and every change shows in the audit log. The full rules are in API keys and scopes.
What to check in any OnlyFans API
- Does it call itself official or approved by OnlyFans? None can be, because OnlyFans has no public API.
- How does a creator link an account, and how do they remove it?
- Do writes wait for a person by default, and does the log show who approved each one?
- Is there a test mode with sample creators, so you can build before a real account is linked?
- Are webhooks signed, and is there a documented way to verify them?
- Where is fan data kept, and what happens to it when a creator leaves?
